OUR STORY

The Swansboro Firefighters Association brings firefighters and community supporters together to strengthen the fire service and give back to the community we serve.

Through fundraising, donations, merchandise sales, and community partnerships, the Association supports firefighter training, wellness, equipment, scholarships, community outreach, and fire safety education.

The Swansboro Firefighters' Association exists to support firefighters and their families, strengthen the fire service, promote fire safety and education, and serve our community through charitable programs, fundraising, and community engagement.

          Supporting training, wellness, equipment, and other needs that strengthen our firefighters.

          Building relationships through community programs, fundraising initiatives, and public engagement.

          Promoting fire prevention, safety awareness, and educational opportunities within our community.

  • Scholarships & Assistance

          Supporting eligible firefighters and their families through scholarships and financial assistance consistent with the Association's mission.

We are committed to serving our firefighters and community with honesty, integrity, transparency, and respect. We strive to manage the resources entrusted to the Association responsibly and ensure that our fundraising efforts, programs, and activities remain focused on advancing our charitable and educational mission.

Association & Fire Department Relationship 

The Swansboro Firefighters Association is an independent nonprofit organization that supports the members and mission of the Swansboro Fire Department. The Association maintains its own governance and finances, separate from the Town of Swansboro's municipal fire department budget. Funds raised by the Association may support equipment, training, firefighter wellness, scholarships, community outreach, fire safety education, and other initiatives consistent with our charitable mission.
